Quick Guide
Welcome to the Sarcoidosis CT phenotype study
Please follow the steps below to carry out scoring for this project
Step 1
Once you enter the scoring page, select the CT you wish to score the list on the left hand side. The selected CT will be highlighted in blue. The scoring form will appear on the right hand side of the screen.
You are advised to enter your email on the form to keep track of your responses
You will need to enter the study ID for the CT you have selected, select your own initials from the list provided and click "next"

Step 2
The blue bar beneath the CT scan will indicate when the scan has fully loaded. Once loaded, you will be able to review the whole volume.
Most scans will automatically appear in lung windows, however the window settings and other manipulation functions can be adjusted using the menu above the CT scan if required

Step 3
You will be presented with a list of 15 sarcoidosis phenotypes and asked to select the primary phenotype. You are advised to familiarise yourself with the phenotypes by reading through all available options prior to scoring.
The primary phenotype must account for >50% of the overall pattern. You will have the option to select a secondary phenotype on the following page (if applicable)

Step 4
You will be asked to give a confidence score of the primary phenotype call.
You will also need to give a percentage to the nearest 5% of the primary phenotype abnormality. If the appearances on the CT are completely in keeping with the primary phenotype selected, the primary phenotype percentage will be 100%.
If the primary phenotype accounts for less than 100% of the abnormality, the proportion of the secondary phenotype will be automatically entered in the next field to give a total score of 100%.
If required, you will be prompted to select the secondary phenotype on the next page

Step 5
After selecting the phenotype(s), a final opportunity to check you've entered the correct case ID is presented to you. Clicking submit will send your scores for that case.
Clicking on "Start a New Case" will bring up a new score sheet. You will need to select the next CT on the left hand side of the screen. If you are scoring over multiple sittings, you may wish to make a note of the last case you scored to avoid duplicating studies.
